How many miles? When was the last time the ABC was flushed? What is the color of the current fluid? Sorry for the interrogation but it's the only way we can help.

Keep us posted.

hi
2007 year, 168000 km, but the engine has been changed. I recently bought this car and don't know what kind of work they have done with ABC. (sorry for my english, i'm from poland)

ABC is very sensitive to dirty oil. Start with a flush and new filter. Use only Pentocin green oil. It will take 8 liters easily to properly flush it until you get clean oil through the system; maybe more given your car's age and questionable maintenance. You also need to see if there are any codes using DAS or a higher quality scanner (not an ebay $10 scanner from China). Check the date codes on the front and rear accumulators. These are wear parts and need to be changed every 75K miles. Publish the codes here and we can diagnose further. ABC is expensive if not well maintained. If well maintained, it is reliable and a great system.

Your English is very good. My Polish is not.

Thanks a lot.
I was at the diagnostics but forgot to write down the codes, I will try to go to the diagnostics again.
One more question: does the filter and flushing of the system affect the fact that one side is constantly lowered all the time?

Really need the codes to tell for sure. Typically, when the fluid and filter are very dirty; the crud causes the O rings in the valve blocks to tear. This reduces the pressure in the line causing the drop you encountered. Simply flushing and filter replace will not fix the O rings, but you need to start somewhere without an obvious code. If it turns out that the flush and filter does not change your situation, you will need to remove the valve blocks and replace all the O rings and ensure the solenoids are operating correctly.

Without a code, I would guess you need to review and diagnose each of the two valve blocks front and rear. Given it is low on on front, my guess is you will also need to service the front valve block, O rings, and solenoids. But I would start with clean oil and filter and see where you are.

Send us those codes and we can pinpoint the issue. Good luck and keep us posted.

A well maintained S class Mercedes is the finest motor car in the World. A poorly maintained S class can be a money pit you throw Euros/Zlotties into forever. I prefer to maintain it and avoid the expensive repairs.

Looks like a bad front sensor. I would still do the fluid flush and filter but it may be as simple as a bad sensor. If you provide the VIN, one of the more senior members can give you a sensor part number.

Keep us posted.
