Command console is dark as well as the CD player. I have disconnected the battery and reset, pushed the ON button for 1 minute, pressed the eject button for 1 minute, checked all the fuses.....still blank.....help!

Give some focus to fuse F51 in the front SAM in the engine bay. It's for COMAND Display. Should be 5A. Check voltage with the ignition on, check continuity through the fuse and check for corrosion.
If that doesn't work, check F99 in the left dash and F122 in the rear SAM,
If that doesn't work, check F99 in the left dash and F122 in the rear SAM,

all fuses referenced are good to go but problem still exists.

The only other thing that comes to mind is the connector at the back of the COMAND unit. It's pretty easy to remove but a big waste of time if that's not the culprit. It would get you into the back of the unit for circuit tracing though.
