You want to fire the parts cannon at it? All you will get with provided information is just that.
Crank position sensor is common. Battery failure common. Beyond that plug it into XENTRY and see what she’s pissed about.

All the errors other than the “battery” can he caused by a bad wheel speed sensor.
Sensor is about $130 part, which is less than the diagnosis charge at the dealer. They give you that back if you let them change the sensor but then you pay sensor snd labor for it probably at around $400.
I had issue with front sensor and it lit up all sorts if errors. ICarsoft MB II scanner told me what the problem was.
The thing in your case that bother me is why there us no alarm for the ABS?

Does this bad wheel speed sensor cause the car not to start at all?

when you go on a forum with a strange or unusual fault and want free help - help us help you
what model
what engine
what year
what mileage
what service history
THEN
give us an idea of how the car was being used - was it a daily driver serviced at any cost and looking like new
or a wreck that's been abandoned for 6 months and never had an oil change in its life
WHEN
you say it was OK, do we mean driving like a brand new car then a one off issue ?
or its been limping along getting worse and animals are us have been make it worse and even then you have not been doing half the work they told you it needed ?
AT THIS POINT
we have half an idea if its a common little bit of engineered fun or a lunatic expecting miracles that aren't going to happen...
some clue as to the nightmare ahead and then we can list 17 pages of common little faults, tell you to fit BOTH new batteries, and then scan with dealer kit - and be prepared to accept that it will all add up to scrap it - as it will be cheaper - but we know you won't as its your pride and joy and you think it can be better than new for $141
that said read this post and come back with info about the car.....

However it is a 2006 S 500 about 260000 kilometers, (160000) miles. Driven once a week.
THANKS

service history ?
inside the gearbox that needs an oil change every 60k KM is a part that gives up, its called the electroplate and has two speed sensors that randomly give up and tell the car silly data and must be coded with special tools or the car won't start ($900) - attached to these are a number of solenoids that likely fail before your mileage ($700), the torque converter has a lock up clutch that should fail before your mileage ($2000)
on the outside an ISM that shifts the gear selection, tends to hit a software limit and stop working at 160k KM, its replacement must be coded with special tools or the car won't start ($1200)
the ABS wheel speed sensors will stop working at 10 years 60k miles and are $150 each (newer ones fail faster - (so aftermarket worth a punt at $30 each)
ESP pump motor on the ABS module is seldom seen playing up on the 221 but a spate seems to have started for early cars (repaired at $350) - these die with gummed up brushes on any other car with ABS around 5 years on and 50k miles
Ignition coils - $60 each x 8
CPS $65
those are a few basics a good car is likely to need any time soon - note my prices are bargain fix prices, expect to at least double these if you drive to a Merc dealership
