Apple carplay issue
So I finally found someone else who has the same issue as me with my limcet box. The owner of this c class posted it on the forum as well. Anyone have a clue how to fix this?
I guy in the UK I know claimed he fitted one of their early ones and the car caught fire... but that's the only one and if that was 6 years back not much of a big deal as in that timeline the whole world has moved

The picture I posted at first is very odd to me though cause on initial install the device works fine and connects quickly. After the car is turned off and turned back on it’s like the interface completely forgets that it’s connected to the car. You have to literally delete the device from the Bluetooth from your phone and also do a factory reset on the device’s setting area and then redo the Bluetooth connect from your phone. Botus what model carplay do you have installed in your car?

is there any firmware update ? I thought you had both the dead speaker channel (likely hardware failure) and the second point, where it forgets to auto connect (the very sort of issue a firmware update might cure)
Ran the Joyeauto unit in my old W221 for about two years. Sold the car six months ago and the new owner still uses it to this day. Worked and still works almost flawlessly.

I just bought the Joyce auto. My question to you when you installed it did it allow you to use your oem reverse camera with out an issue? Were there any issues with the Joyce auto while you owned it?
I don't have one.... I think its supposed to work - you know all these units (including the original) need bug fixes that they either never bother with or owners never bother to ensure get installed
one of the aftermarket ones many use on BM seems to take then 3 to 4 years to fix glaringly obvious bugs.... everything today is geared on selling the next new thing and developing ones worth having or fixing last years model is now irrelevant...

Yes, they sent me firmware update that now the module doesn’t work at all.
