P2101 P2112 code M273 w221 s550 4matic 2011

Hey everyone I’m new here but hoping to tap in to the knowledge base!

Here’s the story, was driving the other day and my car went into limp mode. I got esp and Lane keep unavailable. Accelerator pedal had little to no effect on engine rpm. Pulled p2101, reset the check engine and I was able to drive it home. While parking the issue came back.

what I’ve done:

Replaced throttle body - no effect

Inspected wiring harness - no noticeable pinches/tears

TB out test - I took the TB and tested to see when it failed, it looks like randomly the TB would just stop getting a signal from the PCM. Data stream reveals the APP is registering inputs.

Scanned with Snap-on Solus, I did see a whole bunch of codes related to PCM data implausible which made me suspect PCM.

Removed PCM left out over night to drain or charge, put it back in. Issue still there. Today I started it a few times no code resets and seems to be fine although it did have the code once but when I turned the car off and on it went away.

Any thoughts on what this could be?? I still get the p2101 code as pending on the obd 2 scanner but I don’t get the p2112 code I was getting before.

Also at one point I did have p0606 as well as p0190 and p0638

i have photo and video of the stream data and TB moment of failure if anyone would like to see.

thanks in advance!

Did you do a throttle valve calibration with Xentry/Scantool?
Also check the fuses to the PCM.

I did throttle body calibration with the solid scan tools from snap on and it didn’t work I guess the tb wouldn’t respond.

PCM fuses where are they?

PCM fuses are located in the Front SAM.

Can you pls translate your fault numbers in english and submit complete chassis scan , not only Engine control.

I think your limp mode is caused by a CAN C disruption ie. CGW + ESP causing bus to hang.

Well there's your problem (wel... a problem).
Get that thing recalibrated.

ended up being the ecu. At least that’s what it seems like so far no lights on after cloned ecu installed. Funny enough when I went to swap the old ecu I found that it wasn’t even the oem part no. Which tells me it’s happened before on this car.

There is definitely some fishy stuff happening on CAN-C that's ticking ECU.

Hence simple chassis REBOOTS work wonders to restore best behaviors.
