I’ve noticed that my passenger mirror is unable to move up or down. It can move sideways with the electronic buttons but unable to move up and down. wondering how to fix this.

Also, the automatic tilt when reversing function is not working when enabled. Could these two issues be hand in hand?

Yes, your mirror motor has gone bad and tilt down with reverse naturally does not work when you cannot move it up/down.

I expect the door mirror wiring has been stressed to failure by the ridiculously pointless auto folding idea - its a classic designed to rob you feature so many foolish owners leave enabled

much like the auto irritate me door locking - the folding mirrors were the second pathetic feature I disabled inside the first 3 seconds of ownership
