No radar updates, but if you go to the "last position received" page, you will see on the left next to the small map a link for "Itineraries History". If you see the dates, you can click on "show on map". That will give you reported locations by the vessel. It's not the most accurate as it's only updated once a day (midday) but it gives you an idea of where it is.

Torrens has stopped at the "Enview Inspections" on the Baltimore Map. Oswiff, does she still need to travel inland a little more after this stop, or is this her "port" for Baltimore?

as far as whether this is it or it has more to travel, I get a little fuzzy. A quick google search shows the MB VPC as directly across the harbor from where the vessel is currently. But I don't know if that's their offices or if that's where it still needs to go.
Another search shows that Mid Atlantic Terminal which is where the car currently is, is a huge logistics hub where cars and all sorts of machinery gets put on transports.
So i'm not sure if the ship is just unloading certain items and still needs to travel across the harbor or whether this is it....
Impatience continues

Yeah mine too (impatience). Garnet is about 20-30 miles out, has slowed up tremendously, and just inching toward the coast. Getting pissed tracking her now....lol. It's like she's messing with my head....

So didn't get any word back today about the software update/mod from the dealer or my contact at MBUSA - from the other thread
The latest is the same:
- Torrens arrived on 1/30
- Discharged on 1/31
- Customs Release on 2/5
- Liner Release on 2/5
I think according to other members, Liner Release corresponds with VPC Ready (on MB status). So hopefully my dealer will have it within a few days (2-3)

My dealer has their own drivers and enclosed trailers that they are using to transport my car to NY. It's about 470 miles. I never really considered driving any of the cars I've purchased from them back home.

It's a quick trip for truckers. I just don't want to be forced to do a road trip immediately after delivery.
I want to be able to sit in the car and go through everything in the comfort of my own driveway
Just me though

If you can't decide I suggest you ship it in an enclosed trailer. It's not very expensive and I'm sure your dealer has truckers they work with.

Here are a couple of pictures of my new S I will pick up in the morning--one at Sindelfingen (MB Delivery Center in Germany) and one today after being unloaded behind the MB dealer (dirty from trip from Baltimore to Pittsburgh due to snow and bad weather).

Car arrived at the dealership 20 minutes ago... i have gotten a flood of emails from the different guys I correspond with at the dealership.
For what it's worth, the ETA that MB gives their sales people is totally inaccurate (as previously discussed). The ETA on my car was 2/13, but it took only one day to go from Baltimore to Ohio.
Now the car gets prepped and I will take delivery at home next Thursday!
