The german site has given me the best perspective I can get so far....
Given the pics I've seen on the net so far of Ash, it won't look this "playful" in real life, but the simulator does at least allow you to see how the 3 different colors with mesh. I know some won't be a fan of this, but for some weird reason....I like it.

I probably shouldn't entertain any thoughts of changes to my order but I just thought of a combo that could be really SICK (at least it is in my head)............. Porcelain/Black Exclusive Nappa with the Metalized Ash Wood.....
I have yet to see a car pic on the web with this build, but when I put it together on MBUSA, it looks breathtaking!
What you guys think? Should I entertain this thought? Anybody ever seen this combo? Right now I have Silk Beige Exclusive Nappa with Sunburst Myrtle.....nice.....but is it too safe....

Keep in mind I cannot avoid the confirmation bias in what I say here, but I was actually thinking of the brown wood colors. I have burl walnut on order (with exclusive trim) now, but I was thinking of the Sunburst Myrtle. They are both brown. I think the black wood is the same as the gray ash in that it will not be as timeless. Let's see if this works. I included links to the three others here:
After seeing the three, I'm staying with the burl walnut as the pattern is more classic wood trim. Just my opinion though.

Yes, I agree, this is gorgeous.
I am waiting until May to order a 2015. At that time I will order designo Auburn Brown interior with piano black trim. My exterior color however will be Mocha Black.
The interior is very close to this so I am wondering what color this interior is?

Thnx Guys. I never thought I'd be preparing myself to do something like this because I'm young and there are smarter decisions I can make with the money but after I drove the new S a few weeks ago I haven't been able to get over it. The feeling of quality and luxury when you're inside is like nothing else I have ever experienced. The elderstatesmen in my family and friends have owned previous E & S Class Mercedes, LS Lexus & 7-Series BMWs. I pay attention to all of them and none of them are like this new S. It is a treat for your senses no matter where you're sitting.
This car is not designo color. It is Ruby Black Exterior (no additional cost in Canada) on Exclusive Passion Leather Nut Brown / Black combined with Anthracite Poplar Wood Trim.
