WIS documents for the new 2014 S-class (W222)
Hi,
I'm looking for the wis (Workshop Information System) documents for the new W222. In particular how to remove the DVD player, because for this you need to remove the center console and this has proven to be difficult.

remove/install central console for a w222
Hi,
Thanks for your quick answer. I would like to remove the DVD player. For that I have to remove the central console and I'm stuck while doing this (can't remove the cover because somewhere it's still fixed around the central command knob).
So I only would like the "remove/install central console" documents.
I hope you could/would like to help my.

Removing the center console for W222 (S350 lwb)

Ones again many thanks for the documents that you've sent me!!!
Unfortunately the model in the documentation is not exactly the version I have. Things looked quite straightforward until I tried to remove the "comand controller turning knob assay". I partially unlocked this "comand controller turning knob assay" but I seemed as if the telephone pad was in the way for (re)moving it upward. I didn't manage to remove it because I didn't find a way of removing this telephone pad.
Are you aware of any documents /info on how to further remove the comand controller in order to remove the centre console?

OK, I've sent a document explaining how the keypad and the Comand controller panel in front of the keypad are to be removed. Hope it helps you get further.
