At this level, don't accept a car that you don't want. For this price you deserve exactly what you ordered. If you have to think about it, don't do it.

Did the dealer not give you the exact order sheet they sent to the factory? I would really want to see that myself to make sure the dealer did not make any mistakes. My dealer also prefers to let me check the order, their risks reduced that way.

Which colours are you talking exactly? I cannot recognise anthracite either for the interior or for the exterior. Silver is available in several variants for the exterior (I would not let the dealer decide between different silver tones).

OK, for us it is anthracite blue, so anthracite actually was good enough a definition. Unfortunately with colour codes a single digit difference or a swap of correct digits may make a big difference. Here 988 bringing diamond silver.

Just take it.. You'll love it either way. Have them throw in free tire and wheel insurance or something at no extra cost. FJ is great. Better than Penske imo and i've bought multiple cars from both.

Wait for the blue, don't settle for a color you didn't want in a $110K car.

I would not take the vehicle if it did not have the options or colour I wanted, option 2 would be to have a significant discount.

Diamond Silver is pretty cool looking but it's a pretty far cry from Anthracite Blue.

For what it's worth, last year I ordered a magno night black g63. The car came regular black. Not sure where the mixup occurred, but dealer delivered me the regular black car, and re-ordered the Magno for me with NO depreciation upon the correct color delivery. Just a swap with me paying the difference in paint which i would have paid anyway if the car was correct.

I didn't have to push for this, the dealer stepped up and said this is what he would do. I was more than pleased. But I have bought many cars from this dealer and from the sounds of it, you have ordered many cars from yours, so they should step up and do the right thing.

I brought this very thing up to my wife last night because it crossed my mind what I'd do if my baby (which is coming this week) was not exactly how I ordered it. We really couldn't answer what we'd do. We decided we would just have to feel it out at the dealership "in person". So at least go see it in person if you haven't just to give your mind clarity on the decision.

Wow... that really sucks.... I ordered Perdiot Brown and if it came back in certain colours, I would probably accept it such as Obsidian Black or Anthracite Blue, but if its like Silver or White or some other colour, I would probably not.... I really don't know though....

Post one of the pictures he sent of the car so that we can get a visual.
Just to add my 2 cents, anthracite blue is a dark color much the opposite of any silver and if I were you I would have them re-order the original car and also maybe throw in a option for your troubles ot take something off the price.

We already have a iridium silver e63
Brilliant silver w140
And palladium w221
so something different was the plan

just get what you actually want. Plus if you order now you'll be getting a 2015 MY and have a few more toys to choose from and less initial release problems.

Get the car you want even if it takes a few more months. Even though I like silver and the color is very practical in terms of dirt, the S-Class does look more stately in dark colors.

that shade of silver does not do this car justice, its "rental car" colour.

The silver goes okay with the beautiful interior but the anthracite blue would be a much better combination.

OK finally saw the car in person today

It is lovely, no doubt....the diamond silver has a hint of blue in it...similiar to a silver they used to have for the w126 back in the days...
the blue designo seat trim is nice...but honestly when u are sitting in the car, you arent looking at the seats, u see the creme dash and armest....which also is nice...$5500 upgrade..whoa...

the car didnt have the 3D burmester which im not sure is worth it...and didnt have the distronic

options it had were sport pack 1, designo seats, warmth and comfort package....$113K

I dont know how the heck this order went through but it wasnt the stuff we ordered....

the car drives lovely....fast, light and comfortable....not significantly different than the w221...

we saw an anthracite in person, my old man didnt like it, too black for him...i guess we will start fresh....apparently Nappa leather is out of stock

heres teh 2015 guide
