The Baby "S"
Well, wouldn't you know it, MB decides to make their C-class look like the S-class.
Why would they shoot themselves in the foot and create a $40,000 look-alike to their $100,000 model? So now, if you want that "S" look, just spend $60,000 less and you're in.
Are car designers that lazy that they can't create a different look for the various model lines within a company? It certainly isn't to conserve costs, because the sheet-metal, chassis and parts are not interchangeable.
Thoughts?
Having a 2014 S in the garage, it doesn't bother me there there is a smaller sibling in the MB lineup with some similar design traits.

Worse for me. . I am driving a loaner 2015 S550 that is about half the price of the S65 that is coming off "Dr. Bob's" boat at the next stop.
It is about drive, ride and capabilities. . and when you stand next to the new S-class you get a sense of how muscular it is!
Cheers
