Thumbs down What the hell is wrong with MBUSA???

In any other country you can go to their regional MB site and build you S Coupe but not in the largest MB market-US.
Instead, you can still build a CL that is gone from production for almost half a year.
MBUSA! you suck big time!
get your act together!

That's because it's already on sale in other countries. It goes on sale in US next month and the configurator will go up next month

absent,

Additionally, there is no pricing yet so that is another reason.

The timetable sam9187 describes above is how it's always been done for years.

It's not a matter of getting their act together but merely the way the cycle works for this brand.

The DOG should be able to give you all the information you need. If you are worried about the pricing, then maybe you should wait until that is available.

The pricing should be out in the next 2 weeks (I hope) if they are going to keep the Oct release date. Last year the sedan had an Oct release date and the pricing was released around Sept 7

Same goes with CLS: you can`t order one since it was released in June but you still can build 2014 CLS on mbusa.com. I think its stupid.

I spoke to dealer today and firmed up the deposit on my S550 Coupe and I was pushing to figure out the date I would get my car that is at port but was un-allocated to a buyer.

He said mid/end of October is the best estimate they have right now. He confirmed prices have not been released yet but that they are expecting MSRP (before options) of $125K.

I "built" an S550 Coupe on the Canadian MB website, and included Designo interior, Magic Sky Control, etc. Adjusting for the Canadian / American exchange rates, my coupe came in at just shy of $140,000. This puts it about 12 - 15% above a similar CL.

If you lust after this car, it's worth it.

The U.S. pricing did hit the system today I'm told:

MY15 S-Class Coupe

S550 4MATIC - $119,500
S63 AMG 4MATIC - $160,900

Both Mid-October 2014

S65 AMG - $230,900 - December 2014

Thank you for posting. My understanding is that demo cars are also making their way to the dealers. I will call MB Plano to see when they are getting theirs.

No demo yet at MB plano or park place. They are still at VPC and has not yet been invoiced. It will be a week after they are invoiced. I am hoping next week.

MB Plano has the new GLA.

S-Coupe Now On MB Website

The S-Coupe is finally up on the MB website...unfortunately, when choosing options some items still don't display...a work in progress.

I hope to order in January after the holidays.

Yeah it doesn't work right, but the car is gorgeous. My goodness. I didn't think I would want to part with my 650i, but.....

Not trying to be a trouble maker but the car is a "million times" better in person.
