iPhone 6 Bluetooth Connectivity Issue Resolved
I posted under a different thread (GPS) about a separate connectivity issue I had encountered with the iPhone 6 and Bluetooth (running iOS 8.0.2).
Update: I contacted apple today and spoke to a senior technical regarding the issues I had encountered with paring my new iPhone 6. The symptoms that I encountered were unstable bluetooth connectivity and dropped call.
In case you experience a similar issue, here's what I did the resolve the issue (running iOS 8.0.2):
After following these steps, I was able to connect to via Bluetooth and make several calls without any stability issues or dropped calls (something I was not able to do earlier).
If anyone has also encountered a similar issue, I hope this helps.

In case you experience a similar issue, here's what I did the resolve the issue (running iOS 8.0.2):
- I cleared all bluetooth devices in the car
- On the iPhone 6 I went to Settings --> General --> Reset and selected "Reset All Settings"
- Once the iPhone 6 settings were cleared, I proceeded to pair the phone via bluetooth by selecting the option in the car that allowed me to pair the connection directly from the phone ... opposed to pairing from the car itself (where Mercedes first searches for the phone opposed to having the phone search for the MB Bluetooth connection)
After following these steps, I was able to connect to via Bluetooth and make several calls without any stability issues or dropped calls (something I was not able to do earlier).
If anyone has also encountered a similar issue, I hope this helps.

Thanks for sharing (although I'm not an iPhone 6 user).
Hopefully there will not appear some Android that needs the same procedure, first clear all existing BT devices from the car before using this new phone. One would end up to a loop if the family had both phones...

Be careful there is an iOS8 bug that deletes iCloud documents if you reset all settings. Use at your own risk.

Most Bluetooth issues with iOS8 will be fixed in the soon to be released iOS 8.1 release. Testers report the Bluetooth problems are fixed.

I am using the iPhone 6 with IOS 8.02.
I was able to connect my iPhone and everything works fine except:
I can make and receive calls from my car and it all works great.
The only problem is when I am connected to the car via bluetooth and I make the call from my iPhone, the car calls through the iPhone but it does not activate the speaker in the car so you can't hear it.
If I initiate the call phone the car, it comes over the speaker perfectly. It is only when I initiate the call from the iPhone. The screen comes up on the iPhone and it shows the phone is connected to the car but it does not come through the speakers of the car.
This is on my W221. Not sure if that makes a difference.
Thoughts would be appreciated.

There are issues with the Iphone 6's bluetooth. They are working on a fix from apple. This is why I wait a few months to upgrade - I hate bugs.

I have been on the phone with both tmobile AND apple--no one knew what was up.
for me, i had to hold the button on my blue tooth module in the center consol, enter the code and BAM. DONE. PERFECT.

With that BT adapter everyone needs to press the button and enter the code, just like written in the manual and as you have to do with every similar BT hands free device.
Pretty odd if nobody from Apple or T-mobile where able to help you even if the question was about the MB BT adapter.
