Hi, I recently bought a brand new S600 from my dealer. The car has the rear first class seats with the compartment running through the middle however it does not have the picnic tables as it is an additional option.
I was wondering if there is a way to add the tables to the car after it has arrived from the factory?
How does it not come with the tables? It isn't an option. If you have the middle compartment then you should have the tables. The middle compartment is the executive rear seat plus, which comes with folding tables.

Could be that it is an option in countries outside of the US...

On the car's spec list it had the option called "Rear first class fond", when I googled this the answer I got was that this is just the compartment running through the middle and the tables are an additional option.

from 7:51 to 7:54 it shows an empty storage space instead of the tables.
Completely agree with you. The USA is also the only country with Mbrace at the moment. The S600 in the USA also comes standard with the 3D Burmester Sound System where as in other places it is an $2000+ Option.

Here is some information on where the tables are attached. You would have to see how much it would cost to replace the necessary components. It does not look impossible to accomplish, but I am no mechanic. I assume the big issue is the cost of the parts and labor.

Thanks you very much!! Sadly my leather is not broken up into three pieces so I don't think I'll be able to do it the "Mercedes" way. Probably going to have to get them tailor made, sadly.

I am pretty sure all the parts, including the leather, can be ordered directly from Mercedes as OEM parts.

Hi again. Sorry I haven't been on recently.
I went to my dealer regarding the matter. I explained to them what I wanted. They had a look on their system to see the list of available retro fits. Sadly the rear tables are not one
Don't particular trust people with my cars so I've decided to just leave as is. Thanks for all the help guys!

there have been a few times I would have had something done to 'a car', but not trusted the person.......sucks sometimes lol
