Great point! Wow! Didn't think of that.

So basically the point of a lease is pay the minimum down payment (or maybe $0 down) and lease for the shortest time?

Have you considered a wholesaler? The person that buys cars by the truckload at auction for local dealers? I only buy this way unless I want a specific option that I'm unwilling to go without nor wait for.

It's a biz car so I need to lease. Thanks for the suggestion.

When i was looking about 2-3 weeks ago I found a few dealers giving 30-35k off MSRP. The benz dealer in Phoenix and Fletcher Jones in Chicago were at 35k. Its just a matter of looking on autotrader for NEW 2015s, which last time i looked there were about 50-55 leftover 2015s.

Really that high... I thought I got a good deal at 18.1% off MSRP (Granted this was in Dec 2015). The numbers you are suggesting are like 25% + off MSRP depending on the MSRP of the car.

I had 3 different dealers offer me 30+K off. The dealer in Phoenix had a 153k msrp car for 122k. I still have the text messages from a Florida dealer trying to sell me a 161k msrp car for 128k...i actually have the texts from the AZ dealer too.

Thanks for the information. Sure looks like you are going to get a nice deal if you pull the trigger.

2/29 was the last day you can lease a 2015 S-Class Sedan, Mercedes had a lease special, and I negotiated $125k MSRP down to $100,500. With 7K down my payment is under $990 a month. All remaining 2015s cannot be leased.

What are your lease terms?

* lease term in months;
* miles allowed over the lease term;
* money factor;
* residual.
