Poor Night Illumination 360 Degree Cameras
I recently brought my car to the dealership at which time the dealership performed a service campaign, which, among other things, was supposed to improve night time reverse camera vision. I have noticed little or no improvement. Has anyone else noticed that this is still a problem, or, alternatively, have any of you noticed any improvement?

Any chance you can take a pic at night to show the image quality?

I am refreshing my request to learn if any or many of you are experiencing poor nighttime camera vision with your 360-degree camera systems. Even after the implementation of a Mercedes service campaign that was supposed to address the issue, I still have poor nighttime camera vision (very dark). After the application of a service bulletin fix on my GL63 (which had the same problem), that car's nighttime camera vision is great. If any of you has had this problem successfully addressed, please reply.

"Speak with shop foreman to request MBUSA technical assistance."
Did the shop foreman or MBUSA technical assistance respond with anything illuminating?

What? If “you” request the shop foreman get MB assistance involved, depending on their enthusiasm, a remedy may be found.

As it turns out, the shop foreman replaced the camera and consulted with MBUSA Technical Assistance and was told that there is no fix for poor night vision on the 360-degree cameras aside from the service campaign software and that the poor night vision is a problem for all new S Class cars. This is a shame since I had the same issue with my 2015 GL63, and after application of a software fix from a Service Bulletin, the poor night vision was corrected.

I had my S550v4 in today for a map update. I also asked to update the camera due to poor night vision and or any transmission updates. They informed me I had the latest update and the last thing you want to do is re/flash the computer as it can cause other issues. I told them to just leave it alone then. They did however clean the camera
