S63 Transmission Issues

This made the issue worse, especially in Sport mode on the 2-1 downshift the car almost slams into first gear. The next option they thought was to change the fluid and filter which is due at 40,000 miles anyway. So I go to pick the car up and the service advisor thinks something isn't right with the car.
I get in and the transmission seems to be slipping. The car won't engage until 1500 or so RPM's same thing in reverse.
Fast forward to this morning, the tech checks the fluid level and it is correct. No stored faults and does the wet-clutch adaptation.
At this point the car is smooth in Comfort. In Sport it is still jerking on the 2-1 downshift. They claim the adaptation needs to be done again when the car is cold.
Just need some advice, I know some '14 cars had transmission issues. Should I opt for transmission replacement?
Thanks
Try a tranny reset on your own, see if it helps
TRANSMISSION RESET - if you have KEYLESS GO do not remove the Start button
* Press Start button twice, this sets it to key position 2
* Floor gas pedal for 10 seconds
* Press Start/Stop once. This turns it OFF
* Release gas pedal and wait two minutes
* Then start the engine and begin driving

It tells you how to operate your vehicle, nothing else. Diagnostics, tips & tricks, etc. are not meant for that and the lack thereof doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
That said, if you spend a little time here one the forum you find many helpful posts but it's up to you to believe them or not.
What does help is not to ask for things that have been posted hundreds of times over. A quick search would have shown that this procedure exists and what it does...

Seriously though, the transmission problems posted on this site for various 63 models are so voluminous, you would think that some sort of a class action lawsuit would be in order. I mean, these cars are expensive and driven by rich people. Enough is enough already. I’d tell them I want my money back or I’m filing a law suit.
