Not so quick on moving this out of the S Class thread. When I log onto my MBrace account it tells me my '16 S Class may be subject to this recall.
Carfax is reporting this as affecting my 2016 S Class (see below)

In case you didn't read it, the recall is only for a situation in which the ENGINE IS SEIZED due to hydrolock or other catastrophic failure, and then the driver continues to try to start the car anyway, it could overheat and melt the affected part causing a fire. So benz is replacing them all anyway. Not really a big deal or anything to worry about.
It isn't something they test, what happens if we drive the car into a puddle deep enough to lock up the engine, and then keep trying to start it after it clearly won't start? These things only surface once your brilliant customers get the cars, and MB is fixing it anyway.
