Ambient lighting
I know that the e w213 has 64 color options for the ambient lighting, is it true that the s w222 only has 7 color options?

OMG, I don't know how I'm going to get by with only 7 color options!!! I'm gonna sell my w222 and buy a car with more, many more...

dude it was just a question you don't have to be a d*ck about it, i just don't think it would make sense that they give their most luxurious sedan only 7 color options, and then the e class 64 color options.

Heard the 2018 FL model will have 64 color option just like in E-Class. The current S class came to market late 2013 so it is considered older generation compared to the new E-Class.

Traditionally, the S Class gets all the newest, biggest and greatest stuff first and then trickles down to lower models, you are correct. For some reason ( there are probably people smarter than I who know the reasons on this forum ), MBZ broke with tradition and came out with some bigger, better and newer things in the new E Class before the S Class. Could just be timing...

I am sure the W222.2 2018 S Class will have all the cool stuff the E Class has and more. The ambient lighting, mouse track pads on the steering wheel and better improved autonomous driving features, to name a few.

The was meant to show you it was tongue in cheek, not meaning to be a d!ck. Hopes this answer your questions.

I was annoyed too.........then again......how many colors are actually definable as other colors? Are they easy to see?

Annoyed that your $100k plus vehicle only gives you 7 led lighting choices? I'd hate to be around you when something really important comes up to annoy you....
