I much prefer the front lights and steering wheel on my W222 to this. Does anyone else find the FL headlights undersized?
Living in the 🇬🇧 the only fancy interior colour growing up for me was the contrasting leather pipelining, eg blue on cream seats, found in Rollers and Jags. And I still think that looks much better than the different colour panels you see these days. No one wants different colour panels on the outside of cars, so why try and sell them to us on the inside? 😉
(Glad the FL question and answer came along in this thread, I was starting to wonder how do find out what it meant!)

I agree with the comment by gr1inch on the two tone inside door panels and center consoles. It would be a huge upgrade if Mercedes would start to offer one color door panels and center consoles for all interior leather colors for colors other the few offered.
I am currently in Shanghai and had a chance to visit the Mercedes booth in autoshow.. The cars were locked so I couldn't geft any interior pictures .. rest asssured cars look great .. the new steering wheel is just awesome when seen in person..

YES. I noticed it seems they are too small, and they also stole the Jaguar claw shaped lights of the taillights of the Jaguar for the new headlights on the MB.
About time to get this established phone integration software working. The poor, clunky internet features on the 2017 S totally surprised me when I looked into buying car. It didn't ago me wanting the car, but I've begun to question why Mercedes make a clearly low standard tech offering.
Take the cars internet access for regular S Class owners without special options.
W222 > Bluetooth DUN < phone > 2.5G/3G/4G < internet
Now that is early 2000s technology (the Bluetooth, not bribe Even if that means WiFi is enabled in the car, the internet experience is as far as the slowest link in the chain, Bluetooth DUN. They should have had a WiFi client mode in COMAND to connect to your phone's WiFi tethering, the same as other devices on the car. ie your phone becomes a WiFi Access Point)

I'm pretty sure NO ONE from Benz is stealing designs from jaguar LOL!!!!
Ian is drinking some sort of weird *** coolaid to keep making the cars he does
2020 S560 Sedan, 2019 SL450, 2019 E450 Luxury Trim Wagon, '24 BMW I7 on order...

"We had an old Philco radio. It had 137 knobs, of which only two worked: the On/Off/Volume Control & the Station Selector." Taken from an old Bill Cosby skit.
As someone who remembers my father's old Scott radio, tha DID have tons of knobs, most all of which seemed to do nothing, I can tell you that whatever was written in the post quoted above, just blew about a hundred feet over my head. Geez! I know few here will admit it, but I prefer to know just enough about all of the phone/sound system/internet stuff in the car to use it. Anything more, at least to me, is like those 137 knobs.
