New S550 arrives at Port of Baltimore today. How long does it take to be processed and ship out to suburban Philadelphia.

If all goes well. Expect to see it at your dealer in a week to 10 days. It needs to clear customs and VPC and get assigned a carrier. My last car came into Brunswick and was in Dallas one week later.

Also, I've gotten my car in one day. It just depends. If you have a good relationship with your dealer, and he wants to, he can call and most likely get it expedited.

All of the info I gave came straight from Netstar info my dealer gave me. Sorry if you feel it was inaccurate. All cars clear customs electronically except European delivery cars that actually go thru a different process that requires paperwork. Time at the VPC can be variable depending on any updates that may need to be done to the car or If there is any damage in transit. The VPC also installs some options. If there no issues, the car will clear in less than one day. My last car arrived on Feb 18 and cleared VPC on Feb 19. It was in Dallas on Feb 22. Delivered to me on Feb 24. Some people have taken more time. I thought mine was pretty quick. Ship to me in less than a week.

Another item to consider is the priority status the VPC has for the car. As an example, my '16 S550 4matic was customer order/sold and given a priority status of number 1. They process these first when a ship comes in.
My time frame was: ship docked in Baltimore 8/31/15 and the dealer had the car in Pittsburgh on 9/3/15. So it can go pretty quick if it is priority 1 and has no damage.
