The difference is 1 full second, thats quite a bit although for most driving situations the S450 would be plenty adequate and the S560 more than enough power. Just hit in the numbers here, simple. https://www.carspecs.us/calculator/0-60

Is your car still at your local dealer and just awaiting official OK to be released?
Hopefully it should get released soon as per that initial sched we saw a few weeks ago...

Sadly it is still in Long Beach at the distribution center so not even at the dealer yet. I hope to get it soon too because I am now in no-man's land as my lease is up and they are just doing a month to month for me.
It's been sitting at the port since mid July! I cannot believe it. Seems really wasteful but there is nothing anyone can do. I am just trying to be patient... Thanks for the good luck.

Not waiting for an S class but been waiting for a C43 coupe since order in March. Was built in June and has been at VPC since July 10th. Finally got word earlier this month it will be released in Oct as per the sched posted here and it was “released to carrier” and sent by rail close to the dealer.
Once again got bad news. Yesterday, I was told that although the car is certified, MB Canada will now only release the car in November...So the car sits close to the dealer at a storage facility awaiting again...

Oh no! You have actually been waiting longer than me!! LOL. I ordered in April and had it arrive at VPC in mid-July if I remember correctly. I am hoping you will have good luck! I would be so mad if it got closer on a train but then still didn't have access to it!

Thanks Kath! Yeah, been depressing to say the least lol. Taken away a lot of the excitement. And I was definitely frustrated when i heard that it got here but I STILL couldnt get the car lol... But lets hope it will end soon.

hi Kath00! Is your ‘19 a 560 or 450? I ordered a 560 in June and I’m still waiting. Everyone seems to be on the same page that 19 560’s won’t be released until later this month? (Congrats on yours btw!)

Ours is a road trip! My previous lease was up sept 1st so the dealership actually has me in a free loaner until the s class arrives. It’s a GLC which is nice, but much too small to drive anywhere with a family! Enjoy your cruise!

Oh noooo. WOW. LOL. I would at this point probably wait unless you are doing a road trip too like some of the other guys. It might be nice not to add all the miles to a new car tho?!

This is my first time having any troubles and I have had 2 BWM 7s that were preordered and this is my 3rd Mercedes S-class preorder. They all went totally smoothly minus this one... so don't be discouraged. Being able to pick your own equipment (and not pay for all the unnecessary ones they like to throw in there) is wonderful!
