SD Card Limit

from one data medium. For data media with
more than 64 GB, only files in the following
folders are supported: music, pictures, videos"
I also have a 128GB card, but any time I load more than 64GB on to it, I get the same "no music" message you were getting. I'm not really sure what the COMAND manual means by music, pictures, videos folder.

So I think I have the answer which is shown above but in practice it works.
On your SD Card, you need a folder called "Music". I placed mp3 files in there and lo and behold, it worked. I will next try putting folders of music into the MUSIC folder and perhaps it will categorize as albums.
Will report back.

Code:location=$1 echo "before" find $location for full_file_name in $location/*.* do filename=$(basename -- "$full_file_name") extension="${filename##*.}" filename="${filename%.*}" new_name=$(cat /dev/urandom | tr -dc 'a-z' | fold -w 32 | head -n 1) echo "rename from: $filename.$extension to: $new_name.$extension" mv $full_file_name "$location/$new_name.$extension" done echo "after" find $location
I'd have done a neat screen recording for you, but the forum software is stuck in the early 2000's and doesn't do modern, space saving video formats like .webm.

To find it, you need to be in the MEDIA section (press the MEDIA button). Next, pull down on the control wheel to expose the menu bar at the bottom...click on Options. Then click Playback Mode and finally, select the bottom option "Random Medium".
This will randomly select music files throughout all the folders in your MUSIC folder on your SD.
Hope this helps.
Select "Options"
Then select "Playback Mode"
and finally, select "Random Medium".
YMMV but it may be far easier to just bluetooth the music over from the phone....
