yea if you read what i just posted, i stumbled upon this in my search for the emblem and am giving some info towards answering the question for anyone else that happens to do the same. is there a problem with this?

Of course there isn't a problem. It just looked like you got a little disoriented on the board for a moment, that's all. I'm sure that any posers that happen to stumble upon this thread again in a few years will be happy know that there is an option to pick up a stick-on Designo badge to set their car apart from all of the other Designo interior cars that never came with a stick on badge for the cupholder from the factory. Then to really top it off, some chrome stick-on trim for the wheel arches and B-pillars would really be the bomb....and I hear gives that car a 5-10 hp bump.
BTW, the OP hasn't visited this board since 2018. Unfortunately he probably won't see your top tip here.

You clearly have a problem with reading comprehension as i stated twice, that i posted the info i found for anyone else that would be looking for it in the future..not the OP
And the emblem is a factory part on certain cars.

My 2018 S560 with Designo "flowing lines" wood trim has a "Designo" emblem above the cupholder. Have seen it other cars that have Designo wood trim. It is kinda tacky, but it's completely hidden by my cup-holder cell-phone-holder and a water bottle.
It looks like this, though my car has the white and black exclusive Nappa seats:

Well I stand corrected. I looked at lots of W222 Designo interior cars before making my purchase and not one of them had the Designo badge on the cupholder lid. Perhaps they only come on the ones with the lined wood trim?

That could be; I can't say one way or the other. Candidly, I wish it wasn't there!

Yes, the wood trim selection determines whether you get the designo emblem on the cupholder cover. The carpet and seat backs have the emblems on my car.
