Spare Tire Request

I would love to have a spare tire on the next generation S-Class. (Even a skinny spare will do) I would also prefer not to have run flats. Lets send a message to Mercedes by respomding to these two questions. (the more responses the stronger the message)

1. I would like to have a spare tire on the next generation S-Class: YES
2. I prefer regular tires over the run Flats: YES

Manufactures do listen to customer surveys. I remember many years ago the #1 complaint in the Toyota sequoia was not enough cup holders........a couple of years later they had over 15 cupholders throughout the truck!! Personally I just bought a spare and am switching to Michelin non RF's, Electric jack, and breaker bar. I have AAA but there are places I want the option of getting myself out of, hence the spare. AAA and a runflats can be an issue in certain places. I live in south Florida and there is a Mercedes Dealer almost every 40 miles, it's very populated with many options for service. Granted that's 80% of my driving, but what about being in the middle of nowhere, off hours, on a weekend, not near a MB dealer or proper service/tire shop capable of having and mounting your tire??? Its a special car, with special tires, in special sizes, on special rims and I want a qualified mechanic working on my car. Who wants to wait 3 hours for AAA, get Billy Bob taking you into town and dropping you at a motel and your car at the "local" tire shop, who has to order the tire, and doesn't have the right machine not to destroy your rims mounting the tire that took a day to get!!!!!!?????? That is the same as a Tesla guy with range anxiety! I am a control freak and a detail oriented person. Not having a spare is a big problem....or least it can be if the moons align against you. MERCEDES BENZ---------A 120K CAR SHOULD HAVE A SPARE. There shouldn't be any anxiety or issues with using this special car. This is an easy fix-------get it done and do it!!

Maybe some survey told you we don't usually change our flat tires....true. But we want to be able to when things go wrong in the wrong place!!!!

Oh? My answer is 1. YES
2. YES

!!!

Yeah, it's kind of funny, as this topic is sort of my personal pet peeve and I have been ranting about it ever since I traded my 2013 S550 for a 2014 and found there was no spare. Anyway, I take a lot of kidding about it from some of the other folks here. All in good fun.

Every time I see my spare rim/tire, I am reminded of Streamliner's comments
