2015 S550 Fueling Issues
Has anybody had issues fueling their car? I've found it extremely frustrating. It will pump 2-3 gallons at a time before shutting off. I had my dealer look at it at my last service and they gave me instructions on how to properly fuel the car. Apparently a lot of S-class owners don't know how to properly pump gas? This happens at every gas station I go to and it's not like this on any other car I've owned. Curious if this is a design flaw or a lazy dealer.

Hey,
I have a 15' S550 with no issues in fueling on my end. Not to say I haven't seen cars with poorly designed fuel ports that will 'click' every gallon.
Best I could tell you is just to insert the nozzle firmly and all the way; when you have done this, it should be able to 'rest' at almost any position and to not hold it. (I use Costco Pumps exclusively....)

Thanks for the quick responses!
I'll take it back to the dealer and ask about the carbon canister. I was so shocked when they handed me the service bulletin that I actually started to doubt myself (maybe I don't know how to pump gas). It was only after I left the dealership that I realized how ridiculous it was to assume that people who drive an S-Class don't know how to pump gas.
