DOG 223

So, I'm at the dealership for service and I ask the sales manager if he has a DOG for the 223, in front of the service manager. He says let me check. He responds, no. And, that's it, walks away. No, 'but as soon as I get it, I will call you', no, 'I know you're a loyal customer and we want to help with your interest in any way we can', no nothing. On a $100K piece of equipment, good giref?!! Man, if I had expensive material to move I'd hustle every way I could. Unimaginable. And, this is the sales manager.

I guess they have too much business. Or the sales manager is just lazy. Or... If that were my dealership I sure would want a different sales manager in place. Maybe he was just busy at that moment but again if it was my dealership I would want a person a bit more hungry for a sale.

I doubt it. The DOG is usually available upon the reveal of the car for a new generation car (If I recall the W222 DOG was available Mid May 2013 when the W222 was revealed). I would expect when MB reveals the new W223 the DOG will be available to US dealerships.

There is no DOG for the new S Class, probably won't be one for a couple of months, maybe longer.
Also, why on earth are you asking the sales manager?
I assume you have a salesperson there?
That's the person with the vested interest in earning your business and keeping you happy.

Too many acronyms... too little understanding. Thanks Speednet for explaining what this meant. DOG to me, is a dog.

dealer order guide is not available for 2021 model yet. I am a sales manager at a Mercedes dealer in NorCal. Private message me with your email and I will send to you once it becomes available.
