home tire inflator

Any recommendations reference a quality, portable, tankless tire inflator that plugs into a 110V outlet for home garage use to adjust tire pressures? Something in the $125-$200 range? Thanks.

I would get a small compressor for pneumatic tools from Home Depot or Lowe’s with a tire valve attachment.

They have these cheap 6 gallon Porter & Cable compressors. Whole thing is $150 and can inflate any tire.

If you already have some Ryobi cordless power tools consider what I use to adjust tire pressure: Ryobi Inflator

Very cool. How long does it take to fill a tire up? Say 30 psi or so. Differences between AC and car charger?

AC - several minutes. Used once on my wife’s car, powered by car tire was completely flat unfortunately tire puncture caused by road debris was too severe to refill tire - impressed with performance.

I bought a small compressor that is powered from the 12 volt outlets and fits in my trunk under the floor cover. It has a built in light for night operations and a flashing emergency light. The cords and hoses store compactly inside the unit. I've used it dozens of times to adjust the pressures in my and my wife's cars. So far it has worked fine and I think it's a good value for the money.

. I will add that I also have a full size shop compressor but, since I got this unit, I've not used my heavy duty shop unit.

Just pick up this Air Hawk inflater from Amazon or Target. Have them in my S and Z4. Rechargeable and works perfect.

I have a bunch of other Ryobi tools so I already had the battery and charger. Home Depot usually carries the tire inflator without battery/charger in the $25-$30 range but I guess it's out of stock now/not listed. They have the inflator with battery/charger for $69. That's the basic one. They have another one without the battery/charger that's a little more fancy for $50 and that you can set the pressure and it will automatically fill to that pressure. The cheaper model you have to stand there holding it til it hits the pressure you want on the gauge. I have the older style inflator with gauge and pair it with a 4 amp hour battery and it lasts a long while. I wouldn't get that Amazon inflator the battery looks pretty flimsy compared to all the batteries you could get with a Ryobi or any other major battery line. I was going to suggest pairing this with the P261 which is a 300 foot pound impact driver for changing flat tires, but that used to be $100, went to $140 and now it's up to $210 and it's not a good deal considering you can get a Milwaukee 2767 for $230 with a battery and that does up to 1400 foot pounds of torque, but that's basically overkill for a car. Milwaukee doesn't really make an M18 inflator, just an M12 one but I guess that's still a decent one, Their M12 inflator is $105 with the battery but you still have to buy a charger, just the inflator is $79 and is similar to Ryobi $50 one. I think Ryobi's 18 volt system will last longer than a 12 volt system.

you can just use an upright bike pump too (not joking). takes about 5 minutes and it's a a small workout but not really hard. for one tire, no big deal, for all 4, well skip gym day.

Oh the M12 Milwaukee inflator with two M12 2.0 amp hour batteries, a bag and charger is now $99 at home depot. Pretty decent deal for the full package. Normally $178.

The Audew unit that I have is available on Amazon for $32.99. Works great; fits under the floor mat in the trunk with room to spare.
