New S560 - Day 6 Update
Love this car!
- Not sure I've ever patiently driven more city miles at 35mph & 45mph during the 1st week of new car ownership, just to enjoy the ride. Aside from the occasional loud muffler or motorcycle, everything around me while driving feels muted.
- Sadly, I'm that impatient person that always felt the need to shave 1 minute off a 5 minute trip. Not now. I want my trips to take longer; I like having to stop at red lights; I like hearing the words, "can you run to the store for me?"
- I've had cars that checked most of the boxes. This car checks every box, but there’s more -- it checks boxes I didn't know I would appreciate.
- The big question mark is reliability but only because I don't know. I can better grade that over the next several years. Meanwhile, not thinking about it.

I agree with you. I’ve had my S450 for almost 6 months but only 2200 miles. I love this car. It’s like I find an excuse just to go out for a 25 mile drive

It really is a great car, took me a while to get used to the differences since I had Lexus vehicles for so long (22 years), buit now that I have a firm handle on how everything works I really, really enjoy the car every time I drive it!
