As posted in another thread I had my car repaired under warranty. As usual they washed my car.
When I got home I discovered that every rim is now discolored. I am beyond frustrated. How would you proceed?
I cannot tell in the pictures; It almost looks like soap residue on the rims... Almost like a liquid was splashed on them.
Have you tried cleaning it off?
Wondering the same thing as Sean - it looks like soap that was allowed to dry on the wheels - would be surprising if the finish was ruined to that degree unless something like brake fluid was spilled on them - and in that case, not likely to be on multiple wheels.
I assume you have tried to wash this off. If so and it is not coming off I would assume they splashed a solvent or something very corrosive on the wheels. I would go back to the shop and tell them you want the wheels refinished if this is permanent.

Sounds like all the wheels where bent anyhow, thats the main thing that would explain your vibration. I really like the Mandarus 23 aftermarket wheels, they look real nice on my wagon and only around $330 each a lot less than factory wheels.
So the dealer washed the car, wheels are now discolored and the OP is asking how to proceed? Take it back and insist they correct it. Not rocket science.
