Ceramic coating doesnt do anything like what this product does. The dust washes off easily with a ceramic coating, but it doesnt repel the dust like this does

I just ordered some. It was on back order, but hopefully not for too long.

How many coatings can you typically get out of one 11 oz can?

Also, do you know if it erodes away at ceramic coatings? My wheels are coated along with the car, so I'd had to see that wear away.

I just cleaned my factory wheels on my '16 S coupe today after several months of usage and they cleaned right up with no apparent damage. What little brake dust on them just hosed right off. I've sprayed 3 liberal coatings on my wheels overall and I'd say there's half a can left. Great stuff.

I don't see why it would erode a ceramic coating.

I'm on my third application and there is still plenty in the bottle. I can tell you it does not survive a commercial carwash,

So then I assume using a pressure washer, even with ph neutral soap will take it right off and it will need to be re-coated with each car wash. Does that sound about right?

I wouldn't assume that, carwashes use harsh chemicals and this one sprays the wheels down with wheel cleaner before it goes into the tunnel. I'm sure with a good ph neutral soap and a pressure washer it would be more resilient.

I have been using this for the last 3yrs. years on all my cars. I have a 1990 tt 300zx the has white wheels and the Armor all brake dust repellent really helps them last longer with out brake buildup.

Well folks, I just spent a Saturday morn in my driveway with my music on and changed the pads to POWER STOP Z17 Evolution Clean Ride Ceramic. I have used these pads on all my cars over the years with no complaints. Front and rear, all for under $80 bucks and no more dust to worry about.

I last washed my car 2 weeks ago and applied the Armor All Brake Dust repellent for the first time. 2 weeks later and the car is still looking pretty clean and the wheels looks as good as the car after putting on more than 200 miles. This stuff really works!

Does anybody else who has used it know if it needs to be reapplied after every wash?

It really does work!

It will survive a wash, especially a hand wash. Every time you wash it it’ll diminish a little.

I find using tunnel washes I have to redo it every 3rd wash, and those are high chemical tunnel washes.

I reapply it after about three washes on my cars.

Hosing the wheel off is one thing. Applying wheel cleaner and elbow grease is another. I know that rain doesn't seem to affect it.

You can buy many many cans of this before you get to the cost of replacing the brake pads.
