Hi Tom, thanks for the reply. It doesn’t matter if the car is in comfort mode or sport mode, the ride is still the same. Tire pressure is a couple of psi‘s below normal but I wouldn’t think that would make a big difference. Tires are Pirelli Cinturato P7 and appear to be relatively new with very good tread depth.
Ok, I'm ready to get rid of these RFT. After reading more, it seems like they are the kiss of death for a smooth ride. Any suggestions for the midwest...need a good all-season tire? I don't want anything cheap, but I don't need anything crazy expensive.

I have them. They are good, but road noise is higher than I’d like. Comfort is very good, as is traction (dry and wet). Would I buy them again? Maybe… I would look around more to see what’s on the market (I usually buy Michelin without shopping around).
8411884[/url]]I have had the quietracks for a year.... best ride ever... I hated the runflat harshness... but your assometer may experience differing results...
Only available for the car with the 18 inch wheels.
I have the Michelin Primacy MXM4 non run flat and am happy with them.

If you do not need the all season run the Pilot Sports awesome, I had the predecessor of these and they are super nice. The All Seasons are not the same thing.
I have a 16 550 and ive had it for awhile now. I feel the suspension up front is spongy. I cant remember if when i first got it that was the case. There is alot of movement when i go over bumps. I drove an 18 450 for a day and it felt great. Is it possible for the suspension to be failing without the airbags going bad? My car doesn't sink and it was at the dealer 6 months ago and they did an inspection and said the suspension was fine. I just think the ride should be firm but smooth.
Suspension bushings and ball joints are subject to wear due to the car's weight and can lead to loose and sloppy ride and steering response in addition to squeaking sounds.

Im going to have those checked out. thanks for the suggestion.
You and your wife must not be golfers. I have the reclining rear seats like you, so I too have the notch in the front of the trunk. I also don't have the rear sub. But my golf clubs still barely fit on an angle with shoving the woods and irons into that front notch. With a donut spare, the only clubs that would fit would be little kids clubs.
I choose to carry golf clubs at all times. It gives me peace of mind.

with covid most wont allow you into the tow trucks, i had a flat and tried…..and safety policy would not allow me to drive back even with a mask..now as you said, a dog..well heck..they probably are not going to let the dog drive back with them nor have the dog in the towed vehicle (perhaps if the towed vehicle goes back to your house) ..
Thanks for all of the input. I ended up getting the Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 and am really happy so far, but my RFTs were not what was causing the noise at the rear suspension.

There is as well possibility of internal air leak on air suspension control block valve which is complex unit with spring seal and orings
