From your email:

Freedom Warranty Complete Manufactures Extension
-60 months / 100,000 miles
-$100 Deductible

Cost without financing: $4,420.00
Cost with financing: $4,620.00

0% financing is available if desired on policy:
12 month for $1,200 down and $285 per month
18 month for $1,200 down and $190 per month

Then an additional $350 for entertainment pkg, which I have and which is included in my current warranty plan. I have 3 years interest free financing and total cost is $4100. So yours being $4620 + $350 is almost $900 more than what I pay with your $20k max claims cap. Mine is capped at $51k.

And then these are the exclusions that were in the sample policy that you sent to me:

You are correct, this contract is out of date (may), our exclusions have been updated since, current exclusions are posted above. $4,420 would be your amount today, plus a $200 financing fee, and the screenshot of current exclusions are posted above. I have never seen a policy need in excess of $20,000 in repairs, and I have 100% claims acceptance on policies that consist of a majority Mercedes AMG's. Land Rover's, Bentley's.

The AMG's are where I'd say we specialize.

The exclusions I posted look identical verbatim to what you posted, except you didn't go to the next page and copy the rest of them. You forgot the $350 entertainment package option, unless something changed and that is now included in the price.

When I had my S600 1 owner car that I purchased with just 24k miles, the policy I had on that car paid out $24k in claims in just 3 years and 23k miles. I still had 4 years and 52k miles of coverage left, but I got tired of taking the car in every couple of months for more repairs. And that was a car that had zero abuse during its life. That one had no lifetime cap on payouts, but each individual repair was capped at the current NADA book value. I only paid $3300 for that policy through my credit union and was refunded $1800 after I traded in the car for the unused portion of the warranty. That policy was every bit as good as a new car warranty and if the credit union still offered the same policy at that price, I would have purchased it in a heartbeat on this car.

Standard exclusions for extended warranties. Those cosmetics are covered by your traditional insurance policy, and others are wear items, ie, tires, rotors, pads, fluids.

I got my cost down almost $1k. DO NOT buy anything other than Total Exclusionary Coverage as all other policies are named component. Starting mileage will definitely affect the cost of coverage. And buying more years and miles makes the most sense since it doesn't cost much more to beef up the miles and years. The policy is transferable to the next owner, which definitely will add extra value to the car.
How has your experience been with Endurance? Have they tried to wiggle out and not pay a claim?

I've only had 1 claim, which was a couple of months after I purchased the car. It was paid out fine without any issues.

Something I recently learned from another member is that Endurance just started offering coverage in CA, but the cost there is ridiculous and not worth having IMHO. If you are in the other states, then the cost of coverage is very reasonable. For example, the cost of coverage here in IL is about 1/3 the cost in CA. Also, CA limits to 4 yr and 40k miles. In IL I was able to get 7 yrs and 100k coverage.

The commercials/phone calls are never a good sign, plus take a look at their Better Business Bureau page, not rated or accredited.

I haven't had any more claims as my car has been great (knock on wood). My first claim went well, so that's all I can base my experience with them on.

Ignore Highline autos response. He's just trying to sell you his own policy, which is more expensive and offers less coverage.

I didn't mention anything about the extended warranties we offer, just directed him to Endurance's Better Business Bureau page.
