Is this available for pre-facelift W222s? I looked at my headlights today and they say LED Intelligent Light System and just last night when I was driving home someone was walking on the side of the road and NVA tagged them and the headlights like flashed a rectangle of light on them several times lol it was pretty neat.

If this is available on 14-17 what are some of the advantages of it over stock?

Side note - can a US S63 be programmed to have the sign recognition? I really want that! Not sure if it matters but VIN is: WDDUG7JB9EA026867

Yes, its available for pre-refresh W222s and the sign recognition can be activated.

What is Sign Recognition? Can it be activated on a 2014 W222? In addition to the IL, what would the charge be for the extras? Is there a list anywhere of Options / Features that can be activated / Added with pricing?

I believe it can. it reads the speed limit signs and displays them on the instrument cluster.

I tried my new ILS lights last night in a variety of conditions from the DC beltway to rural country 2 lane roads. I must say that I am impressed. Even with the roads wet from rain, the lights we able to illuminate everything very well. For those of you considering this mod I would definitely recommend it.

ILS+ is a must; I just had my car coded last night. I want to emphasize how much brighter and wider the beam of light is. The beam now easily lights up 30 feet to the direct left and right of the vehicle. I always wondered why Mercedes didn't offer fog lights for the S-Class- now I know why. These lights are now wider and brighter than any (U.S spec) vehicle offered with fog lights today. It's also really interesting to watch the beam dip around vehicles while still lighting up the trees to the left and right. Some added bonuses were my night vision now functions better. It picked up every single person I drove past and put a box around them. Likewise, my Distronic+ seemed to pick up more lines than prior. I'm extremely happy with this upgrade. I can't wait to try these out in the mountains. Currently having the C63 coded and then I'll be shipping it to Colorado! Thank you BenzNinja!

Hey BenzNinja.. So two questions, is this available for 2022 W223, and what happens after a dealer makes update and wipes out the coding? Will you recode at no cost or does ILS+ not something that is typically affected by updates

you can do that with the Mercedes Me Connect app yourself
right now coding those 223 requires certificates and I am working on the solution

like every coding I do and everything I do has unlimited free warranty

I see adaptive highbeam assist, I dont think we have the ILS + in the US. I gotta check in the vehicle inside the light menu. Any luck on activating all the options for the new digital light for the 223 to ROW options? Im looking to retrofit them to my car but only once you guys crazy all the functionalities

there is no W223 solution yet as it requires a echanced certificate to bypass new locking
possible, but too expensive for coders for now, it would raise the coding price to a not reasonable price
in simple language, it's a new locking system
