Failed M278 Tear down.
Been a big fan of Eric and his "I do Engines" YouTube channel for awhile. Seeing how an M278 failed and comes apart can help us keep ours TOGETHER! Enjoy

Thanks for sharing, I like informative videos yet seeing a failed W278 is not a good experience. Those failed engines might be suffering from lack of MB specified oil as well

It was fun vicariously taking apart an engine ... but never caught the root cause of the failure. It sounded like someone had tried repairs (as evidenced by the missing oil pan fasteners) but the engine was too far gone
