W222 Tuning?
Picked up a 2019 S560 a few months ago… I just had the rims powder coated and the brake calipers painted red. Now I want to do some performance upgrades.
Has anyone here upgraded their exhaust? I spoke with a Renntech rep who mentioned stainless steel exhaust in addition to their handheld ECU flash, which actually sounds pretty cool if it really juices an extra 100hp out of the engine. I know there are a few options for the ECU flash… any help would be great!

Choose to do a Weistec tune on the advice of my MB mechanic. He performed the tune. Paid $1250.00. Black Friday pricing for both the mufflers and the tune.
Then I had Peter, the BenzNinja, do a software mod on the center infotainment screen to display gearbox and oil temperatures along with Hp and Torque readouts. Also a mod to make it start in "Sport" mode and another to disable the ECO start/stop function. He also did a transmission update.

Honestly, I do not know for sure. I think they are both excellent tunes. Hopefully the following helps.
From RennTech: "RENNtech tuning software for Mercedes offers significant gains in horsepower and torque across the vehicle's entire power band. By modifying ignition timing and throttle mapping, optimizing air-to-fuel ratios, increasing the engine's rev limiter and modifying boost mapping..."
From Weistec:

From Weistec:
"Key Features:
- 540 Horsepower
- 715 Ft-Lbs Torque
- Eliminate Top Speed Limiter
- Increased Throttle Response
- Optimized Boost, Fuel and Spark"

I purchased RennTech's Sport Mufflers last November from Vivid Racing for my 2015 S550. I paid $2,774.00 with free shipping. They are a RennTech vendor and offer better deals.

I am looking at the M176, as opposed to the M278 engine Weistec module. May not apply to yours.

I did not get the handheld tuner. Thought about it but, for me, really didn't see the need.
My mechanic is a Weistec Cypher Pro Dealer so he did the tune right there at his shop.
He scanned the ECU, sent the file to Weistec, they sent back the tune, and he flash it to my car.
The handheld tuner lets you scan the ECU, download and install the tune yourself. Also lets you switch back and forth between the tune and stock if you want.
Furthermore it saves you the step of shipping your ECU to Weistec for them to install it. However if you do send it to CA, their turn around time is extremely quick.

Has anybody in the Seattle area had any of these mods installed? I'd love to get your impressions and maybe ride as a passenger while you show off the additional HP.

Do the tuning mods, either the Benz Ninja mod or the Tuning mods from Weistec, Renntech, and VRP void the warranty? My car is a CPO and I don't want to void the warranty by installing one of these mods. Does anybody have experience with a tuning mod and taking the car to the dealer for a repair related to performance or a breakdown?

Personally I wouldn't do a single thing to the car while the warranty is still in effect. I thought about doing a Android auto system (my 16' unfortunately does not have that from factory) but I will wait until my warranty is over (May 23").
I know that they may tell you that there is no issue, but if you have something happen these MB computers remember everything. I have a 550e hybrid plug-in and i had an issue with a charger in a parking garage, it stopped charging after only a few minutes and they dealership could tell I had this issue when I reported a problem.

I respect your personal choice but I maintain that these kind of "setting changes" are just setting changes of things that the car already has and thereby DO NOT AFFECT WARRANTY
Changing the engine's mapping by so called tuning might be a different story
but that I do not provide
