I moved up!
Hi, I am new to this thread, but not this forum.
I have had a 2005 S430 that I loved and it loved me back.
Today I traded up to a 2019 S560. Really nice.
Some questions for those who know.
1) Any secret menus that I can use to check actual stats on this car? In the w220 you could hold the AC button down and it would give you all types of info, you could scroll to see voltage, or sun exposure on the sensor, etc....anything like this on the 560?
2) Oil change: Where is all this in this motor? Its all packed in like cattle! Can I do topside oil changes with this car?
3) Transmission stick or way to check the level, see the fluid?
Ill start there, mostly intrigued on how to change the oil on this beauty.

Thanks everyone, I am so dang thankful to God each day for waking me up, and then I get to drive this beast/beauty.
BenzV12, I am all about DIY.
Going to do my oil change and all air filters tomorrow!
Sucks there is no way to topside oil change this car.
But the twin turbo s are smooth in delivery and they have a lot of room.
My thinking its probably a 14lb push on the turbos...

Be sure to use a new plastic screw plug when you change the oil. The oil filter canister has a small center plug drain you can remove to help drain oil in it, before unscrewing the canister itself. This makes things much cleaner when removing the filter.

Yes, I ordered a bunch of the plugs from FCP Euro (best place to get parts for benzos) along with filter kits.

I too am a DIY guy, and bought 2 extra plugs. I have only used one in almost 4 years. Not a drip, or any seepage when I reused it. My new rule will be 3-4 oil changes then a new plug. As it is I am on the 4th oil change on this plug and it was dry as a bone today when I changed my oil. Your results may vary but this is my experience over 4 years. Good luck

Only thing that is annoying is it won't show me oil level after the oil change.
I'm going to try again today.

I figured out how to get it in engineering mode and it shows the oil level and temp.
it was the same 'way' to do it as my w220, just a push button instead of a key.
I am really enjoying this car.
It's heavier than my w220 as well.
The ride on the w220 was smoother in my opinion....this car is really nice.

We have the last year I think for a dipstick...2016. I am sure someone will chime in, maybe 2017 too, but after its like the BMW, no dipstick, done inside the car. I am very happy I have the dipstick, turbo cars with some hard use can suck a little oil, I like to check easily.
