2015 S-class--Car cover for inside garage storage
I previously posted the question regarding whether my vehicle would be ok.parked in a cold garage for a two week period. Most of the replies have indicated that this should be fine. My second question involves finding a good car cover to cove the car while it is parked in my garage for a couple of weeks. Anyone have any good recommendation on a good car cover to invest in for this purpose? All responses will be appreciated.

I wouldn’t bother with a car cover as any dust in between the cover and car will rub if exposed to wind (this happened with my motorcycle stored for winter), two weeks storage will also not be a problem. Some would recommend filling up the fuel tank to minimize any condensation/moisture buildup.

2 weeks are not 2 years. I think you over babying your car. If the car is in garage - it's more than enough protected. Just lock the car and enjoy your trip.

In my next life, I want to be your car. Seriously, it is clear you love it and take great care of it! I leave my ‘20 S560 garaged for 4 months while await every winter and it does fine with a trickle charger, uncovered. Lock the doors as doing so uses less “background” battery draw than when the car is unlocked.

@AbbyKay....
Thanks so much for this response. Can you tell me what kind of trickle charger you use? And will the trickle charger be a necessity if the car will only be sitting for a maximum of two weeks?

You are way overthinking this. It can sit in your garage for 2 weeks standing on its head. No need for a cover or a trickle charger. If the battery is dead when you come back, just jump it.
For the cover, think about this. How often do you wash it when you are out driving it every day? It stays clean in the garage.
