How to close traffic alerts
I did everything but can’t close or volume down “traffic ahead” warning !! It’s really not sounds good when driving with my clients on silent

I think there is an option in navigation menu that you have to uncheck for traffic alerts.

acctually no there option fir close navigation alerts but its not makes sense still getting

I don't know what you mean by closing traffic events. As said above, there's a setting in the navigation settings called "Announce traffic events" or something like that. Uncheck it and it won't announce them anymore. If you just wanna lower the volume, then just use the volume control on the steering wheel during an announcement. The volume controls are context sensitive. They control the volume of whatever is currently playing. There are different volume levels for entertainment, announcements etc. and you control those via the normal volume controls whenever the respective source is playing. So if the announcement is really loud, then just turn it down while it is announcing a traffic event. It'll remember the volume level for the next time.

thank you but believe me i did that it’s unmarked but still getting that alert

Yeap exactly i did same plus close volume for navigation but still periodically she says trafic ahead

You don’t happen to have Waze running in the background do you? I’ve noticed that Waze chirps in after I activate it, even if I move to another app in Car Play.

I don't know why but lately my car started to do the same thing ( traffic alerts ) even though my option is unchecked and voice guidance is off. Hmmm..

I have the same car and same problem and live minutes away from. If you go to service and they fix it please post in the forum so I can Take my car to them too. It’s very annoying usually happens along the belt pkwy for no reason

I noticed this alert always happens on the Belt West bound between Coney Island and Knapp street exits. There is something wrong in that area

Can this issue be depended on Sirius subscription ? I noticed that I started to get these alert messages after I canceled Sirius service. Any thoughts ?

no they different things I believe it’s causes from live traffic packet, I don’t know how but i lowered volume but didn’t find yet how fully close

I had the same problem that couldn't be fixed. Same spots on the same highways/roadways. Eventually it just went away- but I can tell you it was very frustrating....
