2003 S430

WHEEL PART NUMBER

NEED TO BE SURE THAT NEW WHEELS ON MY S550 ARE CORRECT, AND NOT AN AFTERMARKET SUBSTITUTE WHERE IS THE NUMBER LOCATED ON THE WHEEL?

At the rear side obviously. What can you see there or are the wheels on the car, making it difficult to read part numbers?

I actually have the part number, but not the location on the wheel.

If the wheels are on the car, you'll have to remove them or get under there and take a look at the back of the spokes (see pic below for example). However, if the wheels are replicas some of them could have all of the original markings including the part numbers offset etc. so i'm not sure if knowing or seeing the part number will reassure you completely.
