I have ordered the 4pc sensor pack, 4pc solenoid pack and 4 extra O rings for the solenoids from fcpeuro so in a week my car will be in a much safer condition. I really appreciate everyones information and input!

Just installed the zzperformance 8 piece kit, as expected, at 13k miles my connectors were all dry (save for the silicone whatever-the-hell the dealer put on the engine). Really easy job, and cheap insurance for the future. Will take about 10 minutes if you're taking your time.

Recommend a small (appx 1/4" to 3/8" wide) and thin flathead screwdriver to help with the connector locks.

Pop the two mini-engine covers on either side, and to make your life as easy as possible, pull both intake tubes off the airbox side and remove them from the radiator side.

There are some hoses/tubes/harnesses that you'll have to push out of the way to gain some clearance, just look at where the connector is that you're trying to plug in to determine which end to connect first. In most cases, I connected the sensor end first because I could use the slack in the harness end to my advantage, with the exception of one of the cam sensors on the driver's side. Also pay attention to the little alignment pin inside the connector, they can only go in one way.

Be sure to not press in on the lock as you connect the harnesses to avoid breaking them. I did have one harness connector on the driver's side outer cam sensor that was routed in kind of a weird way, i'm assuming from the factory. I had to push a tube out of the way to unwrap it from where it was sitting, and then was able to connect the pigtail much easier. There is plenty of room to tuck the added wire length under the intake tubes and in most cases due to the orientation of the alignment pin in the connector, it angles the wires up as they leave the sensor which should also keep oil from migrating if they do leak.
