I've been looking for a 2015-2016 S550 to use as a daily driver with as many options as possible. I found a 2015 with the chauffeur option and a 2016 that is well optioned. Never owned an S-Class and not familiar with some of the options and wondering if you can help. Last vin shows the below option differences and with the exception of Night View assist, exclusive leather, and the additional wood inserts I'm trying to figure out what else I would be missing. I can't find any information on the Chauffeur package except that it allows you to move the front seat all the way forward, recline the rear seat and lose trunk space. Are there other things I should consider. Thanks in advance!

I am not sure what the chauffeur option is. It sounds like it has this option (4 seats vs 5) with trays etc. The rear right seat has a footrest that comes up. Thus, moving forward the front right seat forward allows for the footrest's full extension. If you do have this option, it comes with many other upgrades including better leather. Look at the diamond pattern on my leather seats. The basic seats won't have that.

 

I think the W222's Chauffeur package is just the same as the W223, which is as below:-

My 2018 S560

I have the chauffeur package. Unless your traveling a lot with people in the backseat probably not worth it, it is a very expensive option at least new. I think it added about 12.5K to the sticker of my car.

 

I don't know I think it might be the only way I could talk my wife into letting me have an S Class.

 

What color are the cars?

 

I would pick the car with more options given given same colors . Any S Class (even short wheel base models sold in the European market) can be chaffeur driven .Should the rear seat occupants barely sit and enjoy the luxurious plush seats or one button reclining seats there's no need to pay $$$ for those amenities to me

 

Mine is Black on Black (I think the color code is 040) with black piano trim with lines.
