Thoughts on these Brabus Rims
I'm quite fancying a W222. There's a 2014 S350 SWB Diesel with quite a good spec I may be able to buy. 75,000 miles and FMBSH. It's unfortunately non AMG line but nice colour in Ruby Black with Silk Beige/Cappucinno. It has a pano roof and Burmester as well as comfort ventilated seats. Is Ruby Black a designo colour?
I have this brand new set of Brabus wheels. 9.5 x 20 all round. I think they're probably quite a good fitment? Maybe 5mm or 10mm spacers at the back to fill the arch a bit more. Thoughts and tyre size thoughts welcome. It would be good to use the wheels as I've had them for two decades!
I think for me a nice set of wheels is 100% necessary to spice up the look of this car a little. I know 20's don't look particularly big on the 222 but I guess sticking with 20's is a good idea on the ride quality front. I suspect I'd like to lower it a little. Am I right links are possibly the way to go, but best not to try and drop it very much? I can't seem to find much by way of modules and I think the Brabus module only lowers 10mm.

I am a bit unsure on looks.
Would anyone know if 9.5J front with et37 should be ok?
I suspect they're on the wide side for the front but may be ok. I see OE 20's are only 8.5J. These wheels were for S Class W220 (I see sets on fleabay that are all 9.5J all round not staggered) so would also be on the wide side for the front for those models but they must've been ok.

Monoblocks or 5-spoke if aftermarket is the only solution for you.

Agreed, it's difficult to know how they'd look. Having said that there's a vast selection of OE style's nowadays and Brabus IMO are almost OE for Mercedes as Alpina are to BMW.
Car I am looking at is on 18's so it'd be a MUST to change them. It would've been good to make use of the wheels if they looked ok or better still looked good.
As above, possibly too wide at the front though at 9.5J. Anyone?

Happy to hear thoughts but I think there is truth in what I said above about a seriously vast array of OE wheels on MB's these days. Many designs completely different from one another. Look at the C Class and E Class recent runs. Lots of very different styles, not all of which admittedly look too great.
I think wheels were probably nicer back in the AMG monoblock, 8 hole days. Less fussy looking than many of the diamond cut designs.
