Would door protector trim interfere with soft close?

Would door protector trim interfere with soft close?
I think about putting some door protection trim on my doors. But would it interfere with soft close? It’s pretty thin.

Or I put something on the concrete blocks on the driver’s side wall.

This would look so ugly.. please don’t do that to your S-class. Just my opinion though, no offense. To each his own, but I really think it’ll look odd.

Well I already installed the neon green ones. Was that a mistake??? 😂

Maybe I didn’t really do that. I found some spongy material I applied to the cement wall. But that damn car stops in two places so I hope I put enough there.

We’ll need photos to confirm the cosmetic aspect of it … As long as u like it, it’s doesn’t matter what I or others think of it anyway . Enjoy your ride.
