Is this really what the Nut Brown and Black interior looks like...?
Is this really what it looks like in real life...?
I did a Google search - and not one of them looked anywhere near this good...

If Mercedes actually had a leather color that looked like the Nut Brown and Black that they are showing in their brochures (like the two in the first post) - it would probably be one of my (and others') favorite interiors.
Here is the original Mercedes brochure picture of the Nut Brown and Black that peaked my interest.
But the best looking black/tan combo I've seen, and I don't have a photo of it, is in my friend's Jaguar sedan of about 9 years age. The tan is a little lighter than in the photos immediately above, and it is luscious.
I'd rather not have black in my interiors (my wife doesn't like it, either,)
My complaint about Mercedes interiors, seen in several models over the past dozen years, is that they seem to insist, when it's a light/darker color combo, to putting the lighter color on the areas that will be most often touched - and show soil - the steering wheel, the armrests, and the console, sometimes around the glove box latch. T this makes no sense to me, but I've failed in my efforts to change the practice on ordered models. .

Just take a look at Bentley for a beautiful interior color palette and variety that Mercedes can't match.

I do agree that Bentley is the class act when it comes to interior options. I really like this one:

Believe it or not, out of many available interior options, this was the ONLY one with a dash that isn’t black.
Loved this interior. Can't believe I never took interior pics of it. These are from the dealer when buying it. It went great with the matte gray exterior.
