Glad to be here, the S-Class has been an on and off dream of mine for quite a while. Come from a long line of Audis/Porsches etc... but always viewed the S-Class as, basically, the best (within reason). So, on a day when our country is in turmoil amongst tarrifs etc..., I figured what the heck, let's go get that S-Class I've been stalking for a month.
2018 S560, 31k miles, extremely clean. Purchased from Phillips Auto in Newport Beach (GREAT dealer, love them). I have a friend who sells warranties to dealers for a living, so the selling dealer matched it/beat it, so I have 48 mo/48k additional (for $3500 it was a no-brainer), virtually bumper to bumper, $0 deductible. .
Have only driven it a few miles, but oh my Lord, is it a wonderful car. So fast (honestly, in the realms of my Audi S8+), so smooth. Very happy to be here, and appreciate all of you for the insight you've unknowingly provided me in all of these posts. Really looking forward to being a part of this community!
Congrats! I've been researching these after getting hooked on a recent 350 purchase. And we have same color taste. Currently have a silver 09 GTS (looks like that pic!) and used to have a TRD 4runner. Thanks for sharing the details.

Haha, great taste in cars my friend. I LOVE those 957 GTS's, they're so awesome - still see them around time to time and admire them!
The E350's are great, I really like mine and will miss it; just a very functional car that does everything right and you can't kill it, even with a stick of dynamite.

The Mazda is awesome, runs like a top (only 59k miles). It was the "beer truck" for High Times Wine Cellars, which is kind of a famous liquor store in my area. Paint is not wonderful, but it's a manual and fun to drive and it has A/C. It honestly gets more nods and looks than anything else I've had. Here's some more pics. I love the silver too

First of all, congratulations! The S-Class is one of the smoothest and classiest rides hands-down. The W222 is just stylish enough to have that old school charm -- it won't look terribly outdated even 20 years from now. I am looking at something similar to replace my '01 E430 4Matic -- leaning towards a highly-optioned S450. My old Benz been super-reliable for the past 20 years and I perform all of the maintenance, so keeping a new Benz running won't be an issue.
Also, I love the fact that you have that Mazda pick-up. Sometimes pulling up on someone isn't necessary -- we're just trying to take the little ones to school or a quick grocery trip! Plus, it helps to constantly put things in perspective and appreciate how far you've come individually.
