Drivers door window switch
We have managed to break one of the levers on the drivers door window switch unit.
I see whole units and just the levers.
Has anyone done just the lever, or do you usually need the whole pad?

Officially you need the whole pannel but if you are handy and the switch lever is well made it should work.

Popped the old switch unit out
So easy it is like MB "knew" it was goin to break)
Amazon only had the right color combo in a high price and long shipping part.
Ordered from eBay at about 1/2 the price ($17) and 4 day shipping from a seller with over 120K reviews and 99.7% positive.
Cheap enough to not worry about just replacing the lever.
Free returns.

I can only speak to my experience. The one I got for my 2019 S63 front driver side door from Ebay was garbage. backlight color was off and font on switches were blurry. I ended up buying an OEM unit from MB and it was much better quality. Could just have been my experience but the OEM piece was dramatically different in my case.

Do post some pictures when you get it, I had to change out a trunk button and got the full part from MB but this might be a good alternative.

With other parts I have seen both. Great "Chinese" parts indistinguishable from OEM, and crap.
Just have to wait and see.
