Leather conditioners

In a current thread about leather dash peel, a commenter mentioned using a leather conditioner.
With many, many brands of leather conditioners available, it can be a crap shoot on picking one.
I have used Lexol for years…It seems to do the job just fine.
I want to get a conversation going regarding leather conditioner quality, formulation and performance: Pro’s, Con’s, etc.
I look forward to your input
Thanks

Everything dries to a clean, matte finish. No shiny residue.

I like KochChemie Leather star...

However, using Lexol does seem to soften older leather upholstery.
