2023 S Class 2013 SL
Cirrus silver

this is the new cirrus silver on a ‘21 E, which will be offered on the 223. I find a lot of blue in it. Can anyone comment on the difference between it and iridium silver? I would have preferred a more brilliant silver, perhaps with some white in it. As opposed to this relative dominance of (what I perceive) as blue.

Cirrus is darker to me than Iridium

Wasn't Iridium replaced by Hightech Silver? Those would be closest in color...

i believe hightech silver is just the name of cirrus silver in the UK, in the US its cirrus silver. I agree has a blue tint to it, still looks nice. I think the best color is mojave silver for the e class however.

I just ordered a AMG GT 4 Door. they took away Iridium Silver for that as well. Cirrus Silver is the replacement.

I just checked and this is the case... I guess MBUSA didn't like the hightech moniker. Officially hightech silver and Cirrus silver are the exact same colors (922U) which officially replaced Iridium Silver (775U)...

Nice. Why did they get rid of iridium silver?

They need to bring back "brilliant silver".

2014 s63 AMG.
Coincidentally Porsche Artic Silver is 92U for their paint code, from Glasurit “ basf “ now Porsche uses Axalta brand paint, looks Artic from pics but polar silver had the blue in it and was 92f . I like one in Arena red from Porsche!

Saw a 223 leaving MB Headquarters here in ATL the other day in cirrus... stunning.
