I haven't seen the W223 lease rates but expect that a BMW 750 will cost about half as much as the S580 per month, at least until the MF is further subvented once initial demand is fulfilled and showrooms are full again

Yeah I definately agree, color makes a difference too.

What I really like about the 7 is how long and low it looks

2018 E63S,
I’m going to ditch my order. I had a w222 and a w213 E63S and sold them. I switch cars often and was drawn to the tech specs of the new S. The problem is I can’t get myself to love the way the new s class looks. I’m “ok” with the gigantic center screen but hate how the drivers instrument cluster is less well integrated than the new Tesla Plaid. Seems that the 3D options won’t be available at launch. That makes the S class only marginally better than the w223 from a feature perspective than the w222 (which most agree looks better). I also drove the new plaid this weekend. Blindingly fast - faster than my McLaren 720S but interior quality is “meh” and the exterior styling is extraordinarily outdated. I test drove an Audi RS7. It’s fast and rides nearly as smoothly as my W222. I think I’m going to try to find one of those. Same price point - better looking and fast.

I got the new 2021 Audi RS7 and I absolutely love it! Such an amazing car from ground up with amazing power and great handling. I love the tech inside and how nicely Audi integrated it into the cabin. The look is sexy asf and gets alot of thumbs up and comments weekly since getting it few months ago. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a well rounded sports sedan. The launch RS mode is insane. As for the W223, I've ordered the S580 with the amg package for my dad to replace the 2012 A8L and we are still waiting on it. Production has been pushed back to September.
